Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in Narrate Conferences. If you are interested in volunteering for a specific event, please use the Events page to find and contact the conference planners for that event.

In 2011, Narrate Conferences will again hold a "boot camp" for future staff members. Boot camp is much like a graduate course: participants will participate in a curriculum that includes discussion, reading, and assignments as they plan a theoretical conference. A typical week for participants requires a commitment of 3-5 hours, depending on the tasks at hand, just as staffing a real conference might. The course runs from January to June, and graduates will gain an understanding of Narrate Conferences' mission, goals, and conference planning processes that will leave them well-prepared to become conference staff members or interns.
